Pedagogical strategy for the understanding of urban features in the city of Bogotá

Abstract

This article proposes a pedagogical strategy for university students based on the review of urban models and theories that allow optimizing the understanding of the urban elements of Bogota, subjecting the city to a learning environment, so that the approach to this scenario enables a better understanding of urban social behavior. To this end, the descriptive scope proposes as a method the theoretical review of urban models and theories that permit considerate the city, not only as a spatial element, but also as the result of an economic, political, ecological, and collective organization, which affects both the life of its inhabitants and the spaces and meanings acquired, according to the phenomena and uses developed in the urban space. Subsequently the review analyzes the elements that make up the field of knowledge of urban pedagogy, and that can be projected as a pedagogical strategy suitable at the undergraduate level.
