Abstract

Through houses we inquire about the relationships and bonds that are woven within the family nucleus, understanding how these can be fluctuate due to the dynamics of the home. Thus, a house is crossed by a series of experiences that transform individual and collective experiences, which narrate life stories about how we build our body-home from what hurts us or what we perceive of this space, referring to different processes of plastic creation that form an artistic language on concepts such as memory, fracture and intimacy. Therefore, autoethnography is approached as a means to understand how a house can be associated with cultural and artistic processes that arise from fieldwork with indigenous Arhuaca communities and women caregivers, who conceive and appropriate an idea about the home through ethnographic techniques such as field diaries, body mapping and drawing.
