TECHNOLOGICAL CONTRIBUTIONS TO EMERGING HOUSING: “SUPPORT FOR LIVING” ON THE BORDERS OF A POPULAR NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE CITY OF MAR DEL PLATA.
Abstract
The purpose of this article is to present the result of a construction experience with the technological system called “Support for Living” within the framework of social inclusion technologies (TIS).
This experience is contextualized in the popular El Caribe neighborhood of the city of Mar del Plata, a popular settlement.
The main objective is to analyze an experience of interactive, interdisciplinary and intersectoral territorial work. It is situated in the context of a family in an extreme situation of criticality and vulnerability. With enormous difficulty in accessing a decent habitat due to precarious economic and socio-territorial conditions, support was provided from this network through the TIS. The technology that we call “Support for Living” was used at first and the subsequent closure of the envelope with materials and labor managed and thought from a social perspective.
