Strengthening logistics capacities in Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Colombia
Abstract
The challenges presented by Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) require a greater capacity to adapt to disruptive changes in the market. The ability to respond to such a situation is known as resilience, and MSEs have scarcely addressed it, especially in the value network. Research approaches have designed different self-diagnostic methodologies. However, they do not generate concrete action plans. Therefore, to understand the role of this business segment in the economy and the challenges it faces to ensure its survival, this paper is formulated as a road map whose purpose is to design an applicable path for companies to develop an increased resilience to potential disruptions in the value network that would reduce the operational and financial impact generated.
